Hi guys, just added a nifty little mod. It enables you to "insert" your added pictures into the post instead of them coming at the bottom. If you add attachments as usual using "addition options" and browsing attachments, it will just as before.
BUT now you will also see the link "Insert Attachment x" between the "Browse" button and "more attachments" link. By clicking this link you will insert a code snip to your post/text which will position the picture in question where that code is inserted.
Hope you enjoy as you will now be able to put pictures in between your text.

Cheers Fabs. I'll give that a go a bit later today, when my head is a bit clearer.

Hey Guys, I was looking for a simple program to allow one of our decidedly "un-technical" users to quickly and easily resize pictures to be uploaded to our maintenance scheduling software. She'd like to take digital pics of maintenance issues and then attach them to the work orders so that the maintenance staff can clearly see the issue. I'm surprised that she figured out hooking up the camera to the computer and transferring the images. I searched and I found Image Resizer for Windows. When it's installed, you right click on the image file and "Resize Image" is added to the context menu. [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] Click on that and it brings up a menu with several predetermined sizes and then a custom size. [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] It's available for free at http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/

Also that is a pretty large pic for a signature. You may want to resize it smaller.

I've been getting an error message the last bunch of times I've tried to attach an image to a post. "The upload folder is full ..."
My image is small enough, it is an RGB JPEG, etc. I've never had trouble before — what could it be?
Thanks!

There was a limit set in the forum software for maximum size of the attachment folder. This has now been increased. Sorry about that...

Good morning tech-savvy people
Anyone know if its possible to take and post picture using ONLY an iphone ? Sure this is possible as I see lots of pics here with apologies for phone quality. I don't own a computer, yes I'm behind the times haha, but my phone does nearly all I need (except post pictures)
Any help appreciated, I have a test picture all ready too
Big thanks Darren

Success !! For those interested, I took the picture using an iphone then emailed it to myself. This gave me the option of rescaling the file so choose under the KB limit and send. Receive the email and save the image than add to the post from the photo album. Or did you all know this already Happy new year Darren

How do you attach an image to a personal message ?
I can do it in a topic or reply but the 'additional options' does not appear at the bottom left on the personal message screen ?
Thanks Darren

Soooooo, I was thinking of posting some pics of my car in the 'in da works' section' as it's now reached the next stage of it's life but I remembered my pictures normally come out either stretched or rotated. I'm only using an Iphone (no camera and laptop screen has gone all Super Nintendo). As a test I've taken 4 random pics. Normal portrait then normal landscape. Then square portrait and square landscape. Let's see which one works (if any) : Tried 4 times now with no luck - says in red text that my session has timed out or I didn't put a subject or text How about with no attachments ?

Well no attachments works ok. Just tried 4 attachments only but no text and wouldn't work.
How about 1 attachment ? [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]
