Smiley Cracked, faded and partly missing, at least most of what is left of my paint is original.

Fontana Grey works as well Elnef. Looks like a cool car!

Was at the dyno today 310 at 7350 and 316nm at 6100 with belt and mufler 99 oktan v power
It started bad but with smaller venturi the engine started to pull nice I need at least one more time on dyno with smaller venturi to get the fuel correct
I am very happy with the result so far 😃

And so far my plan to get the power on lower rpm than last time (8300) to get some life time on parts is a succes

It is going to bee really interesting to see how it responds to slightly smaller venturies. Fingers crossed.

Maybe its time to go street racing again?

Indeed it is! Build a 1.6 - 1.9 turbo engine with 300-400hp and you have a potent street car that you can drive everywhere any day.

Sorry to learn about your engine!

Sorry to see that , but it looks like the bearing did not fit right on the pin when assembeling :-(

Looks like it may have suffered a lack of oil volume,
coupled with an oil clearance on that journal, a little tight.

I like to use the split main bearings where ever they will fit.
The split type have a better 'oil wedge', than the aluminium ones.

Elnef,

I just remembered there has been some faulty nose bearings around missing a small but crucial oil hole. You might have gotten one in the box?
Pls check?

Walter

But again thanks 👍

I read on your posts that you ran quite high rpms
can it be that the oil get pumped back into the case
just like big block chryslers an usa fords
the used an orfice in the crankshaft to equal/balance the oil flow
I hope you can undestand what i mean.

Yes I understand  Wink
Yes it is fix able but for now I dont know how bad it is I have stored it all away
If I am lucky polish crank and repair bearing pin hole
if not new block and one size down on crank
And in both scenarie new bearing oil pump ect
