Welkom here Oddien!
Very nice car do you have, but.. why do you have 4-lug wheels on a pre'64 bug? A set of 5-lug Brm's look gorgieus on a red bug Wink

Best regards,
Sander

i got it that way and dont plan to change it. Front end is from a 69 with brakes and everything. Better than stock 58  Grin
Rear is 74 IRS with 69 brakes.  Handles great and is not so common look so i like it.

Both definitely cal-look! though the fumagalis must be pretty heavy…  Undecided
I love those Astro wheels! -but I think they're even better with the inner circle painted black. Does anyone know if they're also made of steel?
olaf this 's another pict from an astro wheels with the inner circle painted in black just for you  Wink[

These astro rims are pretty much the same rim as the cragar ss. looking good!

looking good, what size are they?

so, what are the best 4 lug wheels?
must be a dilemma for people like me owning a 1500 '67, so old model and 4 lug wheels. it just don't look right!
converting to 5x205 is just too expensive and fuchs wheels are being sold for ridiculous prices...  Undecided

I must say 914 "baby" Fuchs. I run them on my Notch. Also the baby burners and Pedrinis are nice when polished and/or detailed. I like them in polished/grey rather than polished/black though.

Here's my car with the 914 Fuchs. The spokes and the rim are polished but the rest is left in the original anodized finish.
