Finishing up the headliner piece for the sunroof now, I cleaned up and dyed an original Golde sunroof crank to match and installed it. It's 43+ years old and still light years ahead of the reprodution cranks you can get. As soon as the carpet gets here I can cut, bind, and install the rear fender well pieces, then cover the rear panel with vinyl, install it, and rope in the rear window Smiley

That sunroof looks much better than what I usually see with the felt sticking out of the roof. Very nice Zach!

A screw in each corner holds the speaker panels in. Like I said earlier, they will be carpeted over, then the speakers will be installed for a factory looking installation.
PM Slingshot about the mirror, he has a few in stock Wink

Thanks! I see so many nice cars that has this simple detail overlooked. The felt goes flush with the roof, people! It seals better that way, too Smiley

Zach, I think it's coming out beautifully. I'm not sure what you're doing for work now but I think your attention to detail could definitely pay off for you in the future if that's what you want.

Thanks so much! It is what I want, we'll see how far I get! This car is no where near perfect, sometimes I look at it and only see the flaws. But considering it's my first complete build, I'm very happy with it. To say I've learned a lot is a huge understatement!

I really want to get this one done so I can start on the 55! Cool

Final trim of the rear panel, covered and installed. Roped in the rear window and installed the Porsche footman loops for luggage straps. From the belt line up, the car is done! Grin

this may be a dumb question zach but is that rear piece of vinyl more of a blue grey? or is it the same gray that is used in the visors?

The vinyl is actually a nice grey/green, it's hard to see the actual colour in the picture, but it goes with the paint beautifully Smiley

I custom fitted the rocker carpet, bound, and installed. The floor mats are 56-59 versions, modified to attach to the 67 pan. Off to Bug-In! Grin

Front carpet is finished. I really like the flat bulkhead. I made a boot for the Hurst shifter and tossed that floppy plastic thing in the trash!

The flash makes everything look a lot lighter than it actually is...
