Thought it was time for another small update.  Bug is now safely back at home for winter whilst the front end is being finished by Jim.  Meanwhile Ian at Wolfsburg Performance has been busy with the longblock.  To say I am pleased is an understatement................

Barrells, pistons and heads ready for fitting....

Lots of work done.....

Now ready for tinware.........

More soon  Cool

I'll be picking her up in the next couple of weeks and then its interior time!!  Grin

The quality of this build is just outstanding!
Man it must have had a lot of time and nerves to get there. It would be nice to see this in live 'cause of course you don't get the full experience via photos.

Hi Rob, I did indeed have a hardtop off you and very nice it was too! My wife wants a buggy again when the Bug is finished so may have another top from you!
Cheers Paul.

Thanks, it's been narrowed by 6 inches although doesn't look that narrow due to the added width of discs and offset of the wheels.

Have just spent the weekend at this years VolksWorld  show which was totally manic but a lot of fun!!  Got there on the Friday and spent most of the day polishing and waxing ready for her show debut..........

During the show Neil Melliard from Prosign painted 'On' and 'Off' under the cut off switch having already done the wing beading the week before on the flip front .......

And then for me the icing on the cake that blew me away........

Massive thank you to everyone involved in my car!  Now it's time to go racing!!!
