I've seen lists of major manufacturers cam choices posted on different websites which is very useful, but rarely see the actual card that displays the opening and closing event numbers and the lobe centers I think this would be very useful & entertaining to put together!

OK, pull out your camcards & scan or take a quick photo.
Type the Manufacturer's name and the part number in the message box and post the scan or photo.
Don't post one that's already in the 'Registry'. Wink

may be stupid question but did some grind changed its specs over time? I realise some grinds are decades old so was there any improvement?

I used to have a shoebox of cam specs, but now I don't even use that cards anymore, I just dial them so they are where I want them, and bolt them up. I bought a steel billet from Roger @ Heads Up about 10 years ago, and asked "where's the card?", and he said "what do you need the card for?"
He was right. You can find lobe center cam is ground on, and from there find you opening and closing from there and adjust in any advance or retard you want from there. OR, like in case of this steel cam, find it was gound 7 deg retard.
