No hard feelings Nico, and however much I love to see fresh imagery of the OCIR bus, I'm not really interested in looking at American Iron just to see 5 inches of Bus.  Grin

There is a very nice thread in off topic though, just begging for wild non-vw pictures  Cool

That's neat! Makes you wonder what happened to the OCIR bus...

That's almost what I want to do with mine! Same color, same wheels but maybe different stance and mine is a '76.

Here's a shot of my '66 circa '82, either on one of my waning days of DKK or an early DBO days [I spot a DKK and SOTO sticker in the rear window]. Paul Chee, his neighbor Gordon and I had our buses featured in the '83 VW Vanagon TV commercial. Here are a few pics of that as well. Note, we raised our buses and Paul swapped his alloys for stockers for the shoot.

Back in '82 this was considered "Cal-Look."  Wink

Jeff I SO remember that bus.  It was a BEAUTY and by FAR the LOWEST bus I have EVER seen.  You could not get a pack matches under the beam it so low.  Great car.  How about some pics with nice wheels???

I like that Bus too but it`s really not very low (At least not in those pictures). Would love to see more though. And I`ve always had a thing for that 80`s orange DC.
