As long as the nose weight is right everything is optimal. In fact with light front wheel drive up front you better get it right. As these cars are not designed to carry more than about 90 kg's on the hitch (without changing the handling of the car).

True. It does not matter what direction the car is on the trailer as long as you have the correct weight on the hitch. I aim for 80 kg and I always have the car facing forward.

I`m suprised you didnt comment on the strapping  Cheesy

I will let JHU educate you since I`m also one of those that strap my car using wheel straps. We have a 12 page long discussion on our Norwegian forum regarding strapping but I`m sure he will give us the short version.

The Norwegian discussion was about optimal strapping for safety and handling, but this is a thread where we want pictures of peoples cal-lookers... so it's off topic. Cool

Not if you can show a picture of your looker correctly strapped for optimal safety and handling.

Thanks guy's, when that picture was taken, was running the GB's , after, I ran my Alloy's. Just recently I sold them to a fellow Lounger, so the GB's will be going back on today. The car, can't take all the credit, my buddy Randy (kaferdog) has helped me with part of the build back when. Still have more to do, don't we all, but sooner or later will get them done. Rear disk"s brake's, NOS wing window assy. convertable deck lid, and problem is, I have all these parts. The deck lid I still need to get painted to the car. Just time.

Your car looks great. What brand of duel-muffs are those. Is that chrome or ceramic?

I'm not sure whether you are talking about my car but if so, thanks.

The exhaust set up is from VW Speedshop here in England and they are made of stainless steel, without any extra coating.
I think CB Performance carries some of the Speedshop exhausts, I'm not sure whether they sell the dual quiet packs.
