2007 Mustang GT.  Sort of an impuse buy, hopefully never own another new car ever.
What's wrong with it? I mean - what's wrong with new Mustang, not with buying new cars.
Actually the Mustang is great, I was referring to buying new cars.  I feel you lose too much when buying a brand new car, would rather buy a recent used if I were going with something late model.  Just my opinion--I can't really even talk, I have driven mostly sub-$1000 cars my whole life.  :-)
I totally agree. The only car I ever bought as new was this:

2000 Fiat 126p
My younger brother drives it now, I stay bugs-only at the moment Smiley
As for the Mustang, I like it a whole lot.  Ford really did a good job...the sound, the feel, the look.  And it isn't all that slow, either.
Those new mustangs seem fun - simple, cheap, simple, big engine, rear wheel drive and simple again Wink because simplicity is rare thing in modern cars. I've never driven one so I was curious how they are in reality.

V-Rods are not air cooled. That big radiator looking thing in front of the engine is actually a radiator.

85 1/2 Mustang SVO.

Rick,

What kind of condition? Photos? My toy for the last 17 years is a 90 Mustang GT convertible, blown, nitrous injected. Do you do the Fabulous Fords Forever show @ Knott's in April?

Let's see. 130K on it. Complete and restorable. Been sitting since '96. Bought it in August of '85. It was "Cal-Looked" lowered, original cast wheels were polished then chromed with the backgrounds painted white to match the body. All the emblems were removed but I added an SVO sticker emblem off an '84 on the hatch. All the black plastic was painted white.

I'm losing my storage space for it so I'll have to get it running soon. Just needs a good going through to be drivable.

I used to do the Fab Fords show for years. I sat on on the Council that promotes it for a couple of years. It's probably been 4 years since the last time I went.

That '90 GT sounds like fun!

Other than our VW the reason why we visit this website to talk and ask questions about our VW. What other cars do you have in your collection if it is  showing it or driving it on the weekend let us know what you have. A lot of you know that I like all type of hot rods or either original doesn't matter as long as we enjoy what we have is what makes the hobby very interesting. If you have pictures to post that would be cool to. Other than my stock 64 beetle 67 kombi 52 split 66 ghia ( Deja vu ) 65 vw drag car and a 1958 NSU Prinz. I have been working on my 1932 Ford all steel V12 hot rod for the last 6 years and my plans are to have this car done this year as I have a few other projects waiting for me. Last June I had found the car I had been looking for 27 years ago it was a 1958 Toyopet and parked in a barn in Calousa Calif not too many people know what is a Toyopet . In 1958 they had shipped their first cars in the US 287 Toyopet and 1 Land Cruiser . Not too many of them  survived as a lot of them were not very fast on the freeways and customers were not to happy with their performance but customers were able to bring their car back to the dealer and get refunded. Some of these cars were shipped back to Japan or were pushed over the side into the ocean rumors has it. As of today only 4 of them are know in the US I am lucky to have 2 of them one in all original condition with only 48,000 miles and the other a parts car. The oldest one belong to a owner of a  dealership in the bay area the second oldest is the one that I own and the third one is in the  museum in Torrance California. Lets have everyone share some of their other hobby cars and stories.

  Thanks
