NOW we're talking... silver 911 steel wheels for the WIN. Those 2.0 Liter wheels look nice, too. |

6" all round - difficult to find! They were only used on the front of 911's, the 944 had 7's on all four corners! I might be a bit anorak-y, but I'm using a set of 911 cookies on my next project! |

Interesting... because when I worked my local Porsche dealer back in the '80s, I remember 944 cars having Fuchs 15"x7" on the front and 15"x8" on the back. I owned a 1986 944 with those very wheels and my car was all original.6" all round - difficult to find! They were only used on the front of 911's, the 944 had 7's on all four corners! All silver Cookie Cutter wheels would look good on a Cal Looker, though.

I ran Cookies on my first ever "Cal-ish" Look car. The Cookies were polished and I ran 6's in the front and 7's in the rear. Got the set of four for $100 at Bugorama. The 2nd "Cal-ish" Look car had Centerlines. |

When I put cookies on my '67 in 1983, it was because I wanted something different... not to save money. They're all sixes.
This is the only pic I have of it with the cookies.

After ten+ years of servicing Porsche's, the "lollipop" wheels (Fuchs) just don't impress me anymore. Nothing wrong with them, just "been there done that". My personal preference, A nice set of "Cookie Cutters". Not to shiny please. Of course I've always been a sucker for Halibrands....Now I'm showing my age...           And I don't care. |
