cars vs. wheels, cars vs. motors, color combinations, paint vs. interior, motor combinations...  if it makes no sense to you, name it here

imagine, say a roof rack on Sarge's red '67.

Or an Autocraft cased/910 heads/EFI/MSD crank trigger/flange crank in Dave Galassi's '62 rag.  Shocked

or motors...

34ICT Webers on big 94 x 82 motors, 48IDAs dumped on stock 1600s, little 40HP with full flow 96-plate Mesa coolers, FK89's in low CR pump gas motors with tall gears, etc.

Cars that are SUPER low and have big horsepower, strokers out back. The big tires are utilizing half, or less, of their contact patch. Then when you romp on it the car squats even more, meanwhile the exhaust and sump are scraping the pavement.

A tiny, entry level, rear engined, economy car from the 30's with a couple extra updates, still standing tall and strong against all the state-of-the-art creatures of today.                             (even with a roof rack) Grin

Agree completely with you Jick - there is home for chrome!  Cheesy

Also agree on the early panels on a late car, especially if the filler cap is left - to me it just looks odd.
