Just in from the sticky SCC track:

Team Skinne 8.96 - 254Kmh.

H pattern G50 gearbox, vw pan with IRS. Still a lot more to come and the weather forecast for tomorrow is excellent.

I've seen some vids of that green Willys pickup already...kinda wild!

They did run a 8.6x something in Sweden last year but never really trusted the timeslip. On my way up to the track now and the weather is very nice. It will be hot (Norwegian hot, not California hot) during the day but right now the temp is just perfect. They will get 1 more qualifying run before the eliminations starts today.

The Willys is no slug either, did a PB of 9,44 at the last event in may, hoping to improve it some more. Worlds fastest WW2 car???  Cheesy

WOW! Fantastic!! And this is a all-steel pan car!!  Cool

The conditions at Gardermoen is perfect now, dray weather for a few weeks, nice temp at 20-25 degrees Celsius, lots of fresh rubber at the track from pro-mods and door slammers with the sun and Trackbite keeping it really sticky Wink

I agree with the last poster though: The boost question would be academic for most of us drivers haha!
