Carlos is clearly running a Gene Berg Dual QP.
It sticks out a bit more and curves back nicely underneath the fenders.

Thought so.. Wink  Do they still manufacture those? I want one...

I think so yeah, but hey... you gotta build the engine first dude  Wink

Angry.....It's sad to see a nice car with someone that has no respect for other clubs driving it........... Cry

Not to step on any toes.. I have seen the previous discussion on the subject. BUT, do you guys not see this as a tribute/pay respect to the cars/club?
whenever I see a fake sticker like that I don't assume the driver pretends to be a member, but rather showing him self as a fan...
I'm not saying anything on right/wrong, but you guys seem very fast to stamp them as very disrespectful. Would you even consider the "why" before you judge?

I have a problem with fake stickers...ones that are stuck on the outside of the windows, the wrong shade of blue, mis-spelled words, etc.  If you feel the need to display DKP's decals in your car, at least make it an original.  More importantly, make sure your car looks and runs to our club's standards.

Sorry Sarge but I don't share your fair view on this one . It takes a lot of hard work to set up a club such as yours and the fact that someone is prepared to rip off your stickers stinks , let alone stick them in a car which has not gone though your club entrance procedures , Those stickers on a car ( in my view ) show one of the highest accolade's that may in the scene would aspire to .  Cool
No one should display any club log's in there car without themselves or the car being a official member of said club.
I can see that some may see this as faltering to that club , but it still don't sit right with me  Angry

If you want to stick a log of a cool club ( in your eye's) in your car join one , or even better start your own Smiley

12 years ago not much money but loads of commitment. Running 112 hp engine Der transaxle close ratio box and gas burner wheels. I know the colour is not de rigeur but I liked it at the time. Inspired by a car featured in VW trends ,same colour

Our new car will be running Der transaxle 5 speed and a 2386 190 hp engine. Powder puff here we come Smiley Its the one on the left. If only it was the one on the right Grin

for what its worth...i kinda agree with Trond.D,  and whether you approve of it or not, it seems to me that the people that put those stickers in their cars do so with the best  intentions.....to give the appearance of a true cal look car, (is any car in France, UK,or  Belgium in 2007 a real cal-looker?......discuss. Cheesy)

anyone on the scene will know that they're not actually in the DKP, anyone not in scene....well, you know about their views....... Wink

it's just for looks.

i wouldn't put those clubs stickers  (or any others) on my car,its not my thing, but being a sensitive type of guy ( not THAT sensitive Grin) i kinda feel sorry for the dude that proudly put the pic up of  his car on here that started this, only to get a hard time.

oh....also...i might feel differently if i had been, or was currently a member of DKP or whoever.....

ok , i'll get back to my bottle of wine now..... Wink

Disagree! BUT, that said - it could definately do with a harder look which is quite difficult with that colour. Bigger rear tires or get the wheels further out would help and with a little practice I`m sure Torgeir can park his car a little better before the blitz starts flashing  Wink
