I moved the pics to my public DropBox. That fixed it.

I have another update coming. Maybe tomorrow.

Beam is in along with trailing arms, ball joints and spindles. The steering box has been gone through. New master cylinder.

Picked up some short axles and tubes from Mike Herbert

Dropped off some more parts today.

The front end seems to be pretty much complete. along with a NOS Koni steering dampener.

Front brakes are in with all the lines & master cylinder.

Nice work. always nice when the discs get painted.
Are the hoses going to the master cylinder proper brake fluid rated ones?

That thing just looks right... the early '80s are a highly underrated period of Cal-Look style these days. Someday I wanna get out to O.C. again and see this thing in person.

My car is what it is, maybe not Cal Look per the books, but it's more than most.

Come on down any time and I'll give you a ride.

I have a bunch more pics that I wanted to post but last time I tried was when The Lounge was having the problem with uploads.

This is the way we rolled into Bug-In 31 leading 40 Cal-Looks into the show. Me leading as DKK President with Bill as my VP.

I m forever grateful to Rusell for allowing us to recreate this memory at Bug-In 43.

In August I decided to retrace the route from the story I told Keith and he included in his 2nd book on Cal-Look. This is where the entrance to OCIR went under the Santa Ana Freeway. Last time this car was here was in October 1983.
