Nice. Need a matching spare? I've got a 15x6 and no need for it. I'll throw in the "matching" pulley too! Smiley

JezWest, I saw your car in an earlier post and thought...DAMN! that's my car, looks great, is your beam narrowed, mine is 2", my wheels are 5.5" all the way around...Zach I had that pulley on my JYT buggy, what's the wheel going for?

You have to be kidding, check out my standard 72 with Americans....

Don't know what the situation is in the US, but these rims are not exactly common here in the UK, although I have managed to acquire two spares. I got two of my rims from Kobus Cantraine in Belgium and the other two from a place in London. Looks like you also have the 5.5 on the front and 6 on the rear..?

They're probably the wheels I sold Kobus about ten years ago at Slough! Paid about five dollars each for them at Pomona... Cheesy

Das late ones... Wink
Nice pic Roland, but can you give me more info on that "green" one.(year,engine..)
btw,is he a new DAS-member,because @ EBI#1,the car had no "das-windowstickers"
Thx.  Wink

The green car belongs to Arnaud - he was made a member this summer at EBI2.
He works at Pat's together with Xavier.
The car is a 69 that was in a very very bad state (just as bad as Roland's).
Arnaud did the full resto himself, and I have to say it is now super clean.
The engine is a 1915cc with... IDAs (of course) and the wheels are from Weld.

Go on, have a few blurry mobile 'phone pics of my finally finished project! Grin

1970 1500 beetle, on a 1972 pan (hence the K-registration!), Day Mouldings wings, MWS 8-spokes (soon to have 155/70 front tyres) and TMI interior. All welding work done by Dad and myself, lead loading and initial filling by me, final prep and paint by a mate, Roger, and rebuild by some truly awesome people who wouldn't let me give up - MASSIVE thanks to my Dad, Lee, Debbie and my brother Duncan for all doing far more work in the rebuild than I was able to. Thanks again. (where's the hug smiley? Cheesy )

Now, I've just got to convince the new owner (my cousins husband-to-be) that he really needs a 1776 with twin 40s and dual quiet packs, and some Lucas indicators on the front to replace the temporary ones, and track down some taller rear tyres! Grin

Thanks Mark! It'll hopefully get the paint mopped this week and get sent to it's new owner at the weekend. I hope they like it!

the black one with the door open is a really really nice one in  my opinion. it belongs to a friend off mine and although it has a small engine it is really cool.
flatfire saw it as well at EBI1 and liked it as well.
