Good looking late model Super Beetle. I've always wanted to build a late mode with the bumpers looking that like that. It makes the car.[/b]
Agree, but only on light colours, painted bumpers on dark cars look cheap to me, also they need this rubber strip to look good. |

You see Scott, thanks to Lisa I can put a pic of your car in the Late Model thread !  You got me Nico! Thanks again for hooking me up with the Euro grab handle. It was VERY much appreciated and I definately owe you a beer or three..... ...or four or five Did you mount the handle ? I hope it will fit correctly on the dash. |

And, yes... the only way I prefer the color coded bumpers is with the rubber impact strip. Otherwise, they're better left chrome. I remember when Don Metz built his late convertible and brought it out to the last couple of Bug-In events. Same bumper treatment as the Super in the pic. Gave the car a lot of class and set it apart from everything else. |
