Looks like Porsche Mexico Blue. From the 914 and 911 in the early '70s. It stills exist now, but according to the infos I've found it's called Riviera Blue. But it's the same color.

By the way this is the color of my '68 too  Tongue Grin I've noticed it's changing a lot depending of the light and camera settings, and that's something great.

Thanx for the nice comments! Like Jesse said the colour is an own mixture, but i'm still very pleased with the result.  Cool
The beam is narrowd with 2 inch because i fitted Porsche 944 disk brakes , but it is the same wide as stock now.

+1.

Rivieras are usually polarizing: you either love them or hate them. I hate Rivieras...but I love that early series with the plain spokes and simple lips. They look great and they really make your car.

Never cared for those wheels, but those are the best looking ones I've ever seen and they look very fitting on a late model VW.

Someday I'd like to have the lug nuts and center caps blasted and repolished or something, to fit the polished lips and centers of the wheels. They are a bit too shiny.
I like the "rough" look these wheels have.

That may look nice but I don't think it would look authentic (that's not the way I remember seeing them). The chrome offers a subtle hint of contrast...which is how chrome looks best. It looks right, at least historically.

Sorry, Nico... just now saw your post. Yes, that would be a nice contrast.

Typical, my favourite car of the thread, I pull it back up and it disappears! Roll Eyes Cheesy Nico, you out there? Any more of the dark red 'Looker with colour coded headlight rims, Lucas indicators mounted quite high, and Ercos?  Huh

This brown/green -69 looker is my favourite. Big motor, cool wheels and tires and a perfect 70`s paintjob. And of course, dual mufflers. No fat boy muffler
Nice! What's that saying, "Where are they now?"

Or even "who was it then?" A very cool car, and are those "The Head Shop" stickers in the side windows? Could have been quite a serious motor!
