Hey, I recognize those pics of Racecraf's and Tod's (D.K.K.) cars in the Irwindale/Drag Day pics. I was parked next to Tod and behind Racecraf's late car. Must've been taken very late or very early in the day.

That '70s blue/gray car looks nice, vwcab.

Great picture of a memorable day, Nico. O.C.I.R. and Henry Mayeda at the wheel of his gorgeous blue Cal Looker. Loved that car. We had a few good looking late models in our club. Thanks for the memories.

Geno Comb's 69 is my all time favourite looker (late or early) the stance, the colour and a hot mouse motor to boot! it just plain rocks. I would love to see more shots of it if anyone has any.

It's actually a lot worse than that, if you look closely they're almost 5mm out from the right wrong spot.

 Shocked

That aside though I can't believe this thread is still running, I mean 'Late Lookers'? WTF?

Here are a few shots of my recent project. A '69 sunroof. Original paint, 20,000 original miles. It had been parked, under a carport in California for 25 years exposed to the elements. A little elbow grease and it's starting a new life.

Not a traditional Cal-Look, but that's how I roll.
