One of those way back up there.  The blue one with the dual quiet packs looks to be Steve Hollingsworth's car.  That is one sweet driver.  He has a mileage motor in it right now.  I think it is an 84x85.5, Berg-5 and a genuine cruise control that he made with parts from a water cooled VW.

The Blue one with the fat muffler is a clubmember (Dennis).

What do you guys think off one-piece windows...If yes, wich kits are the best ?

I really enjoy vent windows, one-piece windows makes the car a bit "modern" in my opinion.

That red '74... does that belong to a guy named Glenn, by any chance? If it's the same car, it's got a great engine.

Glenn's a good guy, with a really nice ride. Low key, nothing flashy, but all business. I just spent the weekend with him at the All Air-Cooled Gathering in Flanders NJ. It was an awesome weekend for a near perfect event.

Right on, Jeffrey... thanks for the clarification. Sounds like you guys had a cool event, too. Sorry for the late reply... I just now saw your reply.

Speaking of late models, I hope yours is moving along nicely. Can't wait to see it when you're finished.

Not long now! And I apologise for the motor being a weedy 1500 single port - the budget just didn't allow for the 1776 IDF motor I tried to get my cousin to go for! Cheesy

Wow, cool car! but who wants to put that much money in a late model. He's never gonna be able to sell it at a decent price... Silly idea.

Yeah, I don't know who is the owner of this car, for sure a strange guy for doing a cal-look with a late model. And look at the wheels Roland, I'm sure they cost much than the whole car !

It got put on the back burner whilst I've been working on my truck. The truck still isn't quite done, but I couldn't wait any more. So the beam and front disc's are completed and ready to be dropped in, I got the wheels polished and mounted, and I'm currently trying to get a shine out of what's left of the paint. It ain't gonna buff out as nice as yours but it'll be fun. Once I finish with the paint, I'll turn my focus on cleaning up the interior. I'll let ya know when it starts coming together. Hopefully soon.

If it was about the money you wouldn't bother with any project car and if you followed that logic to its ultimate conclusion there wouldn't be a hobby. Roll Eyes

It's hard to forget your first love. Mine was a 69 Cal look I built in 1983 that I later made look pretty in 1986

WOW! Your paint will be original? VERY cool. Ramirez's '67 is the original Lotus White paint from the factory, as well. I dig the original fender beading that he has. Wish that I could find some Zenith Blue ones. Used to see 'em everywhere up until a couple of years ago. Oh well. Can't wait to see your car.

My paint is Toga white and the fender beading is kinda beige like. I'm gonna kinda clean it up and try to save it. Not sure if it's the same color as the stuff WW sells.
