FREDERICK NOEBERT TOP CHOPPED OVAL

Well, I heard of this project of a Top Chopped Oval Gasser a while back, and I was excited by this idea to say the least, moreover when you consider this project is currently under construction in Europe (in Belgium to be more exact).
Builder Frederick NOEBERT is not a newcomer in the VW world. His first creation was a instant winner but unfortunately was never finished for some family reasons... This Magenta Racer which was expected to be a Track record breaker somewhere in this page. I remember attention to detail was second to none and inspiration was this car was all about. This Top chopped Oval is sure going to be something special when you know the guy...
Original owner and builder of the Top Chop is the now famous Nicolas GERMEAU (see very rare picture of Nico's Ass on the third picture *Laughing*) who Built Muppet Racer from the D.A.S., and Frederick bought the car as you see it in the pictures. All the hard work was already done by Nicolas athough some minor metal work need to be finished, but Frederick is a good welder, so I'm not worried about this...
Frederick idea is to make a Gasser like they were made in the 70's, that is no mirror finish paint, no extras but a real rocket on the tracks... Sure, they is plenty of work ahead and I will show here the work already done from time to time...
By the way, the primered red oval window standing next to the Top chop is currently for sale by Frederick to help finance the new project. If you are interested, send me an email... Price is very attractive...
