Dune Buggies & Hot VWs magazine (formerly Dune Buggies - The Fun Car journal) is my all time favorite magazine. In fact, this little section might be a sort of tribute to the work the magazine staff put together every months from more than 30 years now.

To begin with, here comes two cool cover from the 1970 issues. These pictures were sent to me some times ago by Loïc CHARPENTIER. Thanks to you Loïc!!!

The december '70 issue shows the TAYCO awesome drag race car. This car is unfortunately not very known today. I especially like the stripes on hood and bonnet. Where that car ended??? The November '70 issue shows a good looking complete SCAT engine. I remember this picture was cover of a SCAT catalog (1971 I guess). Note the 48'... and the night club design...

After these nostagia covers, here comes 2 Old School Hot VWs featuring great beetles. The october 76 issue show the Cherry Bomb of Rich Wallace sporting a bright Indian red Porsche paintjob. February 80 was a California Look special issue and feature on cover 3 Cal Look beetles (note the T-bars and Lucas style front indicators). These issues are from my personal collection...
