- US Magazines :

Another great cover was sent me by Loïc CHARPENTIER. It's the January '71 issue of Car Craft magazine. This magazine generally covers the big boys scene but this particular issue include an article untitled : "VW : How to 235 HP"... What a program. Note the EMPI 8 on this 1300 bug.

- French Magazines :

The 2 special edition of NITRO devoted to VW are the oldest french VW only literature available on newstands way back in 1984. Talk about late interest in VW here in France, compare to US magazines... Whatever, this 2 issues are highly collectible today and are pretty difficult to locate in good condition. I own these magazines but pictures shows Christophe PIEDNOEL issues. Thanks to you.

The first issue of our own french VW magazine, Super VW magazine, is very sought after now here in France and is highly collectible too. I have the chance to own this first one issue in duplicate (sorry not for sale at the moment). I bought it for, believe it or not... 5$ some months ago via the web. Who said lucky...
